Key Responsibilities
Monitor and review daily fraud alerts generated by fraud detection systems
Investigate suspicious transactions, accounts, and activities
Escalate high-risk or confirmed fraud cases to Fraud Ops and SME teams
Review customer identification documents and supporting fraud-related documents
Accurately document investigation findings and actions taken
Follow defined escalation matrices and fraud procedures
Identify fraud patterns, trends, and provide actionable insights
Stay updated on emerging fraud schemes and regulatory requirements
Support fraud reporting, metrics, and performance tracking
Adhere to SLAs, KPIs, and KRIs while making risk-based decisions
Collaborate with team members to share best practices and improve investigations
Act as SME and perform quality checks on team outputs when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Experience in fraud investigation, fraud detection, or risk management
Knowledge of fraud monitoring tools and transaction systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Familiarity with financial services, payment systems, or e-commerce fraud
Experience with PII verification tools and customer profile reviews
Ability to meet productivity, quality, and SLA requirements
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
Advanced typing skills with high accuracy
Proficiency in MS Office tools
Ability to adapt to process and system changes
Willingness to work in a 24×7 environment
Certifications such as CAMS, CFE, ICA, or equivalent (preferred)
